SAFE BOATING CLASS THIS SATURDAY IN BOCA RATON

This Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm at the Spanish River Park in Boca Raton, Florida is a great class on boating safety. Hosted by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 36, this boating class will cover all of the most important topics about being on the water. Boating and life on the water is a way of life here in south Florida. Its vital to understand the rules and regulations of safe boating to ensure only happy days at the sandbar, beach and cruising the Intracoastal Waterway. 


Some of the important topics that will be covered include boating terminology, boat handling, navigation rules, state and federal regulations, aids to navigation and safety equipment and apparel. 

If you want to brush up on your boating safety and knowledge make sure you sign up for this class. This class is also perfect for young boaters. All are welcome and encouraged to come out. 

The class will cost $35 per person and is to be held at the HQ Building of the park at 3939 N. Ocean Boulevard. Attendees are encouraged to bring lunch. For more information about this class or to make a reservation, please call 561-391-3600.
