The Hollywood Hills Saltwater fishing science and social club (HHSFSSC) brings local South Florida’s scientist, hobbyist, professors, recreational and commercial fisherman together to discuss saltwater fishing and ocean science.

The club is an active research and seminar program to do investigation such as tagging swordfish, fish analysis, finding out general questions such as how fast fish can grow. The meetings are fun for adults because they start out with Happy Hour, local fishing reports, general discussion and announcements, seminars then feature experts to speak and followed by group conversations. Many legendary professors and captains repeatedly show up to the meetings and share knowledge that you can’t just look up on the internet. Experienced recommendations that will help you succeed.

This is a free club and meetings will often give away free door prizes. Also, plenty of food and drinks for those believe in giving back to the community.

Join the HHSFSSC and learn about the ocean gifts all while meeting some great people with the same interests!
