West Palm Beach Scarecrow Festival

Save the date for the Annual Scarecrow Festival & Contest in downtown West Palm Beach. The Festival will be held on the grounds of the Historic 1916 Court House, home of the Johnson History Museum. This family event celebrates the season and will feature kids’ activities, arts & crafts, live music, food, agriculture booths, and the famous Scarecrow Competition. The Scarecrow Competition remains the big attraction, with businesses, schools, individuals and community groups competing for cash prizes. The courthouse lawn will be filled with fall family favorites like pumpkin decorating, a haystack hunt, museum tours, face painting, bake-sale, corn shucking, and craft tents. Make sure you do not miss the pie eating contest!
 
The deadline to enter the Scarecrow Competition is October 19, 2016. Entry forms are available online at hspbc.org. Local business are invited to join in the fun with a top prize that includes corporate membership, feature in "Society News" with an online distribution of over 3,000, a trophy and bragging rights. Tickets for the festival are $10.00 per person (free under 3) and are available at the door or in advance online at hspbc.org.
