SCHOLARSHIP ALUMNI GOLF TOURNAMENT at PGA NATIONAL RESORT & SPA

Alumni Association of Palm Beach Atlantic University will be hosting its 28th Annual Golf Tournament and Auction on October 3, 2015 at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA) is a private and independent University that offers undergraduate and professional degrees in Orlando, Wellington and West Palm Beach, Florida as well as online classes.

The golfing event is open to all, and is focused on raising currency for the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. The golf tournament will start at 7 a.m. with a breakfast followed by the start of the tournament at 8:15 a.m.on both the Champion and Squire courses. Excitement will start the tournament by a Helicopter Ball Drop and a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Those participating in the enjoyable round of golf will be competing for some major prizes! For those players that have the longest drive, those that are closest to the pin and Beat the Pro, as well as other categories of competition. For the 3-hole-in-one prizes, Arrigo Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep of Palm Beach and Tire Kingdom will be providing the ultimate prizes. The tournament costs: $275/player, which will include the carts, greens fee, tournament golf t-shirt and breakfast and lunch.

After golf, there will be lunch offered after the tourney with a rousing auction that will be featuring some really interesting and attention-grabbing sports memorabilia and of course PGA National Resort & Spa will be auctioning off the ultimate weekend resort packages that you cannot miss out on!

The proceeds from the 28th Annual Golf Tournament and Auction will be assisting the praiseworthy and commendable students of Palm Beach Atlantic, PBA for their academic education and continue to remain in good education standings at the University. Last year, the Alumni Association awarded 41 annual scholarships. “To date, the tournament raised an endowment of $1.1 million and provided $420,000 in scholarships for Palm Beach Atlantic students!”
