The gorgeous Seabreeze Amphitheatre in Jupiter, Florida across from the bountiful beaches of Carlin Park, will be veiling with mystery to the influence of the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival’s: Shakespeare by the Sea XXV. The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival and Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation presents and celebrates the 25th Anniversary Season with the production of William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet.”

The Seabreeze Amphitheatre is a gorgeous outdoor professional theater experience and “Hamlet” will take stage on July 9-12 and July 16-19 with free admission.

"The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark," shortened to "Hamlet," which poses the famous question of "To be or not to be" is believed to have been written between 1599 and 1602.” The story tells much revenge, melancholy and morals mixed with plenty of anguish.

This summer’s performance will mark the second time in 25 years the Festival has staged “Hamlet.” "Reaching the quarter-century mark of consecutive, annual productions is definitely something to celebrate," Dashell explains. Taking on what many consider to be Shakespeare's ‘greatest play' is no mean feat, but for this anniversary there really was no question; it had to be "Hamlet," continues Dashiell. The fact that it has only been staged by us once really decided it."

“The mission of The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival is to enhance the education and cultural quality of life in Palm Beach County. Through its theatrical productions and original festival events, PBSF strives to enrich South Florida's cultural identity and achieve recognition for artistic excellence on a state and national level.”
