The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium  and Bricks 4 Kidz would like to make youth camps, interesting classes and other fun events  readily available to the northern Palm Beach County Area.  The proposed new center will be in the Town of Jupiter’s Abacoa Community.

The West Palm Beach based not for profit has leased 2,000 square feet in Abacoa’s retail and restaurant expanse formally known as Abacoa Town Center.  The newly renovated downtown is a family friendly and date appropriate venue.  The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for place to unwind or somewhere to relax with the family, there is something for everyone.

South Florida Science Center plans to open the “S.T.E.M. Studio” later this month or February. S.T.E.M (science, technology, engineering and math) has collaborated with nationally recognized, Bricks4 Kidz, and will offer hands on learning experiences. It will be located on Main Street and used for special programming such as “Parents Night Out” and summer camp activities.  It will not feature museum exhibits.

According to Danny Simon, a principal with FLF Holdings LLC (who acquired downtown Abacoa, in Jupiter, March, 2015),  “Downtown Abacoa is about spending time with friends and family while shopping and being entertained at locally owned businesses. South Florida Science Center and its S.T.E.M. Studio perfectly fits our paradigm and will provide true synergy with our quality driven and family focused merchants.” Since the acquisition, 15 new businesses have been added to the downtown area property.
