South Jupiter Park is a public park found in the beautiful, residential community of Abacoa. The park has long been a favorite to residents and their kids in the neighborhood as well as non-residents of Abacoa. Currently, the park features a number of lighted courts, fields and other athletic facilities with some restrooms and parking, but now the Town of Jupiter will be adding a new building to make the park complete.

The $4 million building will span 4,200 square feet and house offices, storage space and a concession stand for park guests. About 14 acres of land has been cleared next to the new building to extend the reaches of the park. The new South Jupiter Park building will be located near Independence Middle School adjacent to Fredrick Small Road. Some of the additional features to be added to the park include four lighted, multipurpose fields, much more park green space and a walking trail. The new South Jupiter Community Park and building will be completed in summer of 2015.
