The Town of Jupiter is hosting their annual Turtle Trot 5K Run tomorrow morning along the beach and A1A. Runners and walkers will be taking the starting line bright and early tomorrow morning for the 3.1-mile race. 

This year, the race will start at A1A and Marcinski Road and go north towards the Jupiter Inlet. The turnaround point will be at beach marker #45, just past Jupiter Key Condos. The race will finish back at Ocean Cay Park.

Road closures are expected to begin on race day at 6:45 am and roads are expected to be back open for vehicle traffic around 9 am.  A1A and Marcinski Road will be closed during the Turtle Trot for the walkers and runners.

The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium located in Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa is home to two Minor League Baseball Teams. The stadium is home to the Jupiter Hammerheads and the Palm Beach Cardinals. 

The Jupiter Stadium is home to two Major League Baseball teams during their Spring Training. The Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals. 

This week the Jupiter Hammerheads are playing four games against the Tampa Tarpons beginning tonight at 6:30 pm. Tickets for the games are available online prior or at the box office.

Every Monday night, unless specified, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum hosts their popular Twilight Yoga at the Light. 

The event is open to all at sunset on Monday evenings for a yoga class taught by an experience yoga instructor, Mary Veal. 

The class requests that those attending bring their own yoga mats, and a water bottle. Yoga mats will not be provided. Class begins promptly at the start time and those attending are asked to arrive 10 minutes early to check in and get set up. 

Twilight Yoga at the Light is weather dependent and those attending will be notified if bad weather is expected during the class.

Spring Training is back at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches beginning this weekend.  The Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros get to call this stadium home during baseball’s Spring Training.

The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches hosts two World Series Champions. The Houston Astros won the World Series in 2022 and the Washington Nationals won in 2019. In 2019, the two teams played against each other in the series. 

The two teams have been in Palm Beach County for the past few weeks practicing and getting ready to start Spring Training ahead of the upcoming MLB season. Both teams are looking forward to this year’s season and hope to make it to the World Series and be champions once again.

It’s that time of year again, baseball’s Spring Training is back and games begin this weekend in Palm Beach County. 

Two Major League Baseball Teams will call the Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter home for the next few weeks for Spring Training before the official start of the baseball season. The St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins have been practicing these past few weeks in Jupiter ahead of Spring Training. The annual PGA Golf Tournament is back next week at PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens. The golf tournament is a popular event that happens each year. The event brings some of the world’s top golfers together to compete for the title. 

For the past several years, The Honda Classic has been named the “Most Fan Friendly Event” on the PGA Tour and its played right in our area. The “Most Fan Friendly Event” award recognizes the food options, amenity stations, parking, transportation, affordable ticket options, and much more. 

This year, the tournament is celebrating 16 years being played at PGA National. PGA National has been the home of The Honda Classic since 2007 and it returns to Palm Beach County next week.

The Delray Beach Open is back beginning this weekend at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center. The Delray Beach Open is hosted by and they will be celebrating its 31st event this year. 

The Delray Beach Open is an annual stop on the ATP Tour and the tennis stars play for more than 60,000 fans at the event in addition to capturing a television audience from more than 50 counties. 

The event lasts 10 days and begins with an ATP Champions Tour Legends Team event beginning this weekend. The ATP Championship event features the top tennis players form around the world. The Single and Double events begin early next week and will finish with the finals on Sunday, Feburary 19th.

Polo Season has officially begun in South Florida. Every year, The National Polo Center in Wellington hosts its annual Polo Season that begins in January and goes through April. The AustinBlu Foundation was formed in 2015, in the wake of a tragedy involving two young boaters from Jupiter, on July 24th, 2015.
