A generous group of volunteers in Delray Beach offered additional support for the frontline healthcare workers at the Delray Medical Center, 5352 Linton Boulevard, Delray Beach. The hospital has served the South Palm Beach County community for 30 years as a 536-bed acute care hospital.  The medical center is a community hospital and a Level I Trauma Center.  The hospital offers highly specialized services such as neuroscience, oncology, cardiac care, orthopedics, rehabilitation and E.R.

As a sign of appreciation, this weekend volunteers in South Palm Beach County increased efforts to deliver about 100 care packages to healthcare workers at Delray Medical Center. The packages were filled with all the ingredients to prepare a healthy meal.…

Starting this weekend, some of the top Tennis Players from around the world will be in Delray Beach for the 2020 Delray Beach Open. The Tennis Open starts on Friday, February 14th and will be in South Florida until Sunday, February 23rd.

The 10-day tournament features past a present ATP World Tour and ATP Champions Tour players. The matches consist of competitions featuring some of the top-ranking tennis professionals in the sport for single and double elimination events at the Tennis Center in Delray Beach. All time great tennis professionals Coco Gauff, James Blake, Tommy Haas, Marco Baghdatis, David Ferrer and more will be competing at the event.

Gardens 60th Anniversary Party: This June 29th, Palm Beach Gardens is celebrating 60 years of being a city. The birthday bash will feature old fashioned games, live music from the 50’s and 60’s, a Classic Car Show, food trucks, fireworks, and much more. Palm Beach County is seeing the new sugar rush trend of piled high milk shakes and ice cream sundaes filled with cotton candy, cakes, candy, crepes, and every ice cream topping that you can think of.

The Sugar Milk Dessert Bar opens this Saturday, April 27th in the Grandview Public Market in West Palm Beach. The new dessert bar is scheduled to open at 11 am. The new food hall stand will feature everything from Taiwanese style bubble tea, Hong Kong style bubble waffled filled with soft serve ice cream and fruit, chocolate sauce and toppings. The IPIC Theater recently opened in Delray Beach last week. The upscale movie theater located just south of Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach on Thursday, March 7th.

The theater complex features eight giant movie screens, office and retail space and a parking garage. The movie theater seats are viewing pods, which wrap around movie goers to create your own private space. The seats recline, in addition to be very comfortable. The pods also come with hidden cup holders, a blanket and a pillow. The seat pods reduce the amount of seating per theater, but the movie theater has 443 seats with the auditoriums ranging from 40 to 80 seats in each.

The Open starts this Friday, February 15th and goes until Sunday, February 24th. The 10-day tennis tournament features some of the best ATP Champion Tour players and ATP World Tour players. The Everglades National Park is located within a 2.5-hour drive from Palm Beach County. The National Park is considered to be one of Florida’s most cherished state park. In August 2018 the park turned 96 years old and is the third largest park and third largest tropical wilderness in the country.
