The Martin County Fair is the single largest fair and event held in Martin County every year. The fair draws over 70,000 people from around the county and Treasure Coast. The Fair is coming to town Friday, February 14th through Saturday, February 22nd.

The purpose of the fair is to promote the community’s talents, vision, diversity and tradition to entertain. The fair features great food, fair games, carnival rides, parades, live music, fun entertainment, a kid’s zone, shopping, cookie challenges, tribute bands, baking contests and much more.

Head to Hobe Sound this weekend for the 19th Annual Hobe Sound Festival of the Arts. The annual 2-day event is produced by Howard Alan Events in cooperation with the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce.

For the past 19 years, thousands of visitors and locals head to SE Dixie Highway on the first weekend of February for the Festival of the Arts. The festival includes over 100 highly skilled artist display their works for purchase.

The Festival of the Arts will also include business booths, food vendors and a Green Market filled with locally baked goods, homemade crafts, fresh produce and much more.

The Festival is free to attend with vendor purchases.

Join The Nature Conservatory in Florida staff this weekend at Blowing Rocks Preserve for a Shoreline Cleanup and do your part to help keep our beautiful sandy beaches clean. The Shoreline Cleanup’s are on the last Sunday of every month.

The Shoreline Cleanup will be guided by the Blowing Rocks crew leaders and participants will be guided through the trails and pathways along the shoreline of the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean to collect debris left on the beach.

All supplies will be provided for you to use and no registration is required to attend the Shoreline Cleanup. The cleanup is for all ages and those under 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult. You are asked to bring your own refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.

Head to Hobe Sound this Saturday for the ultimate 4th Annual Dunkin Chili Challenge. Come and taste some of the best chili as the cooks compete for the title of “Best Chili” in Hobe Sound.

The cooks will be allowed to participate in both the open and CASI rules competitions. The Dunkin’s Chili Challenge is an official CASI event and CASI rules apply. The rules include Chili cooked on site, Chili cooked from scratch, No fillers in the Chili, Sanitation and Inspection of the cooking conditions.
In addition to the “Best Chili” contest there will also be a Salsa Contest to see who has the best and hottest Salsa in Hobe Sound.

It's that time again for the 2020 Stuart Boat Show. The annual boat show is the largest Boat Show on Florida’s Treasure Coast.

This year, The Stuart Boat Show has been named as one of the “Top 20 Events” in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society. The Stuart Boat Show is the premier event for the area. The Martin County Office of Tourism submitted to be considered with the Marine Industry Association of the Treasure Coast, the organizer of the popular event.  The best events in the Southeastern part of the country compete every year to be featured in the “Top 20 Events” and this year, the Stuart Boat Show has once again made the list.

Head to Hobe Sound this Saturday for the Christmas Parade and Craft Stroll. This year, the parade is expected to be the biggest parade procession to date.

The parade route will begin along Dixie Highway and Bridge Road. The holiday parade procession will include decorated golf carts, floats, flying reindeer, go karts, boats, RV’s, antique Firetrucks, horses and helicopter flyovers to kick off the holiday fun. More than 1,500 parade participants are expected.

The Hobe Sound Centre Building on Bridge Road will be the Viewing Stand for the parade. The Viewing Stand will also serve as the Judging Stand. On the buildings’ balcony, DJ Dancensound will be blasting all the holiday favorites and latest holiday hits.

It’s a Green Christmas is the theme for this years Annual Stuart Christmas Parade.  Presented by the VNA.

Bring the family, rain or shine on Friday, December 6th from 7pm – 9pm and enjoy this Martin County tradition since 1960! The Grand Marshal this year is Mark Perry, the Executive Director of Florida Oceanographic Society. There will be food vendors, including Classic Mobile Catering and Island Grill Food Truck, as well as lots and lots of candy thrown out from the floats to the children along the street. The popular Pineapple Festival is returning this weekend in downtown Jensen Beach. This 30-year old festival is one of the largest in the region and one of the few remaining true street festivals in South Florida.

Produced by the Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce, the initial Pineapple Festival was held in 1988 in concurrence with the Jensen Beach Centennial Celebration. In 1990 Jensen Beach teamed up with Gregory Town, Eleuthera, Bahamas to start a popular attraction at the festival each year to have an authentic Bahamian Market that features island music, crafts and the Junkanoo parade. The Chamber not only produces the festival, but organizes it as well with the help of sponsors and hundreds of volunteers.
