Constructed as a part of Palm Beach County’s Environmental Resources Management’s Artificial Reef Program, Phil Foster Park was completed in August of 2013. The park is an 800-foot-long tract of artificial reef that incorporates more than 600 tons of Anastasia rock boulders. Loosely strung together in easily accessible depths ranging from six to ten feet. Atlantic Dunes Park in Delray Beach is a great spot if you want to spend a day in the South Florida sun. Nestled atop a natural wooded dune, this beautiful, beachfront park is located just a block north of Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach. 

The park is perfect for people of all ages and for all interests. It is patrolled by the Ocean Rescue Division and is staffed with a lifeguard on duty. A winding boardwalk provides an ideal outlook so you can watch the sun rise or set over the ocean. The Loxahatchee River Environmental Center opened in Jupiter on August 23, 2008. Halpatiokee Regional Park in Stuart is a great place to visit if you want to go on a hike, ride bikes or just explore some local nature. Halpatiokee is the largest park in Martin County with 65 acres of active land surrounded by approximately 500 acres of wetland preserve area.
