The Lake Worth Playhouse is presenting “Fun Home”.  “Fun Home” is the winner of five 2015 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Book! It was a finalist for the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.  The production is considered an emotional powerhouse about parents as seen through their adult children’s eyes.  The show will be at the Lake Worth Playhouse, located at 713 Lake Avenue, in Lake Worth, from Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 16, 2022.

The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival will celebrate 32 years of its annual tradition this summer, with a live performance of William Shakespeare's Richard II. Sunday, July 17, 2022, is the last performance of the season in the Jupiter area. Future performances will be held in Royal Palm Beach later this month.

Organizers said if you have only read Shakespeare, you are missing out. “Because it was never written to be read. Shakespeare wrote plays and, of course, the sonnets to be read, but the plays were written in order to be performed," co-producer of the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival Elizabeth Dashiell said. "The reason why they are still performed around the world to this day is because he wrote about the human experience.

Florida Atlantic University is presenting Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs from Friday, June 17, 2022, through Saturday, June 25, 2022. Brighton Beach Memoirs is centered on the relatable angst of growing up. The plays are in the Marleen Forkas Studio One Theatre and the big band concert is in the Kaye Auditorium of the Student Union, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus.

The Brighton Beach Memoirs follows 15-year-old Eugene Jerome as he navigates the waters of adolescence. FAU Theatre Lab, in Boca Raton, is presenting a performance entitled “To Fall in Love”, November 20 – December 12, 2021.  Scientists claim that anyone can fall in love, simply by asking and honestly answering a specific series of 36 personal questions followed by four minutes of uninterrupted eye contact. What if the goal is to fall in love again, now what?  This entertaining play will be performed live at the FAU Theatre Lab.
