Look no further for the best waterfront restaurants near the Jupiter Lighthouse at the Jupiter Inlet. Enjoy unsurpassed views of the Jupiter Inlet Waterway and the historic Jupiter Lighthouse.  The 156-foot tall red impressive structure holds the title as the oldest existing structure in Palm Beach County and one of the oldest lighthouses in Florida. It was only illuminated for a couple of years before the confederate army dowsed its light during the Civil War.  When the war was over, it was re-lit and been guiding ships along the shore to this day. Known as a worldwide fishing destination with Thursday night sunset celebrations, Sailfish Marina Resort has expanded its footprint with an outdoor tiki bar.

Welcomed by regulars who usually sip on libations at one of the two indoor bars, the tiki bar has created a separate retreat from the busy dining area on the south end of the expansive property. In true South Florida fashion, the bar embraces an island vibe with tiki torches, Adirondack chairs, wood-burned fish designs, and enough margarita machines to keep Jimmy Buffet at the dock.

The new outdoor tiki bar serves a full drink and food menu, and is sure to be a new hot spot for Northern Palm Beach locals, as well as visitors in the fishing and yachting community.

The Rustic Inn Seafood Crabhouse restaurant on the Jupiter Inlet closed last Saturday night, May 20, 2017. Rustic Inn opened in January, 2015, in the previous location of the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. on the Jupiter Inlet just south of U.S. 1, next door to Jetty’s restaurant.

Charles Modica, local Jupiter developer, bought the four-acre restaurant property last November for $8.3 million. The other two parcels owned by Modica, all are on the Jupiter Inlet. The other two projects are known as Love Street and Suni Sands.
