Saturday, May 14th is the annual Save the Tiger 5K at the Palm Beach Zoo in West Palm Beach. Join the zoo in a passionate effort to help save the Malayan tiger. 

“The Malayan tiger is the most endangered of the 5 remaining species of tigers.  It's estimated that there are fewer than 250 in the wild.  The Palm Beach Zoo works closely with the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), supporting species and habitat research and protection at Endau-Rompin National Park in Malaysia. A portion of your race registration fee helps fund our involvement with WCS.”

Taking place today, May 6th through Sunday, May 8th is the West Palm Beach Antiques Festival. The West Palm Beach Antiques Festival is a monthly event and is the largest monthly event in Florida. 

The show got its start from a local couple originally from Ohio who had a great love for antiques. The almost 279,000 square foot office building off of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard that was once the top “business hub” in West Palm Beach has sold for $20.5 million.

The three building property was sold last week according to PRP Real Estate Investment to a Miami based owner. Crimson Peak LLC is a Miami based company and they have purchased the forum to potentially transform it from office buildings into a hotel.

The famous Forum building was built in the 1970’s when downtown West Palm Beach was much less developed and was in need of more office space.
