This January, the South Florida Fair Grounds turns into one of the largest fairs in the state of Florida. The fair began on January 13th and continues through this upcoming Sunday, January 29th. 

The theme for this year’s fair is Pre-Historic Creatures. The fair features some of the most fascinating life size dinosaurs and pre-historic creatures from the tiny Raptors to the giant T-Rex. There is also self-contained shows and family entertainment dedicated to dinosaurs.

“On the first night of Christmas, my true love gave to me…” a 700-ton sand Christmas tree. The 35-foot tree is made entirely of sand and can only be found in West Palm Beach on the waterfront! Sandi the Christmas tree returns each year as the star of the city’s Holiday in Paradise celebrations with a festive music-and-light display decorating the carved sand. The City of West Palm Beach is bringing a calendar list of events for residents and visitors to enjoy this summer. The city’s “SIP” or “Summer In Paradise” started last week and goes through the end of August. 

The mulit-month campaign brings free concerts, fireworks, movies, pop-ups, social media opportunities, social events, and more for the whole family to enjoy. 

Some of the events include:

Clematis By Night: Has been a resident and visitor favorite for the past 25 years. The night features live music on the city’s Great Lawn on Thursday night’s from 6 pm to 9 pm. Grab some snacks and drinks from your favorite downtown bars and restaurants and enjoy the night. 

Sunday on the Waterfront: Every third Sunday of the month, live music and fun

Since opening more than 25 years ago, the popular outdoor music venue has hosted thousands of concerts and music events in West Palm Beach. The venue has gone through six different name changes and is currently the iThink Financial Amphitheatre.

The venue is run by Live Nation, the world’s largest event and venue operator and promoter.  The outdoor venue holds roughly 20,000 people both under the canopy as well as in the grass areas surrounding the stage. The venue includes great food and drinks for purchase and parking for guests to enjoy.

This May, the Pairings Food and Wine Event is celebrating its 10th Anniversary in downtown West Palm Beach. Gather all your friends and family for a fun event this May 26th.

The popular annual music festival is returning to the waterfront in West Palm Beach this upcoming weekend. The music festival SunFest features top artists from all over the world coming to perform some of their greatest hits. 

The four-day festival is coming to West Palm Beach Thursday, April 28th through Sunday, May 1st.  SunFest was first started in West Palm Beach in 1982 and has been a popular annual event ever since.  SunFest is Florida’s largest waterfront music and art festival. SunFest mixes different musical genres together for everyone to enjoy a weekend of fun.

Toys for Tots Christmas Toy Drive will be coming on December 19, 2021. The organization will be distributing toys to kids in the Palm Beach County community. The goal is hoping to help bring joy and relief to those parents in need.
