See history come to life when you hop aboard this fascinating and informative downtown historic trolley tour of West Palm Beach. The 45-minute ride features guides portraying residents from 1945. West Palm Beach tours through this historic area and highlight the distinctive architectural styles of the day.

The tour highlights the 1920’s real estate boom and redevelopment in the 1940’s after World War II. Learn about the elite members of the 1934 International Fishing Club. Ernest Hemingway was a member. West Palm Beach trolley stops include the area's first “skyscraper,” the 10-story Comeau Building; Pioneer Linens, known as Pioneer Hardware was built in 1912; the Harris Music Lofts built in 1902 and the Downtown waterfront. Be entertained by the interesting people, places and things that happened back in the day and the struggles they faced.  First pioneers arrived in this area A sin the 1800’s.

 Hop aboard and soak up the history before tours end on April 17, 2017.  The West Palm Beach trolley tours depart from Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum, 300 North Dixie Highway, and take place on Fridays at 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.   The tour is $5 for adults and free for children 10 and under.  If you would like to experience a downtown trolley ride without the tour, there are 3 routes in Downtown West Palm Beach: The Yellow Line, Green Line, & Blue Line. All routes are FREE - the yellow and green line trolleys pick up passengers every 10-15 minutes and Blue Line every half hour with set stop times.   Trolleys pickup/drop-off at designated trolley stops located in downtown West Palm Beach and are handicapped accessible.  This is an easy way to visit all Downtown shops, restaurants, and attractions.
