South Florida is not only known for its fantastic fishing but also its fish feeding. It’s not Tarpon fishing its Tarpon feeding. These giant silver kings are considered one of the great saltwater game fishes not only because of their size but also their fighting spirits when hooked. They are very strong and make spectacular leaps into the air to spit out the hook.

The Atlantic Tarpon collect at numerous South Florida marinas and people congregate to the docks to get a chance to feed the huge fish, sometimes even by hand. One of the classic and well-known Tarpon feeding experiences is at Robbie’s Marina in the Florida Keys. The giant tarpon are used to being hand-fed and they congregate to the docks by the dozens. Young and old fish admirers pay only $4 to feed the Tarpon sardines. In Fort Lauderdale, the 15th Steet Fisheries at Lauderdale Marina also offers Tarpon feeding every day. You can personally feed the Tarpon with shrimp obtainable at the dock store.

It’s a notorious fact that feeding these giant Sliver kings are one of the most popular and exceptional attractions in the South Florida area.
