A brand new dining and market complex in Jupiter will have a familiar face backing the investment. Joe Namath, the famous Super Bowl winning quarterback of the New York Jets, and developer Charles Modica make up the power duo behind "Charlie and Joe's at Love Street". 

The new complex will feature three restaurants and a seafood market and is set to open in January of 2021. The site will be a "sprawling hospitality hub that’s unlike any establishment around the inlet and some of the best views of that majestic lighthouse." according to the Palm Beach Post. It is farmers market season again in Palm Beach County, and there is one opening this weekend in Jupiter. This weekend marks the start of the season for J-Town Farmers Market. Previously known as the Jupiter Markers Market at El Sol.  The market will be open Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through the end of April at the El Sol Neighborhood Resource Center parking lot, 106 Military Trail in Jupiter.

The community garden coordinator at El Sol, selected longtime Jupiter resident, Cliff Ross, to run the event. Ross wants to attract local vendors, mainly because the market is in what he calls the “heart of town”. That is how the new name came into play as Ross thought "J-Town" gave it a nice local feel.

Palm Beach County is open for business and the world is listening. In the past few weeks Palm Beach County has secured large investments from two national companies.

Elliot Management, a $41-billion dollar hedge fund out of New York, recent announced plans to move into the Phillips Point complex in West Palm Beach. The short-term lease is temporary space until Elliott can open more permanent offices of at least 25,000 square feet. The likely landing spot, according to the Palm Beach Post is 360 Rosemary, the new office building under construction by Related Cos. at Rosemary Square, according to two real estate sources. Historic Downtown Stuart claimed the 7th annual "Great Places in Florida" award hosted by the state's chapter of the American Planning Association.

It has been quite the year for Jupiter resident golfers, and yet again, another local pro has found the winners circle. LPGA golfer Mel Reid took home the 2020 ShopRite LPGA Classic for her first ever win on the LPGA Tour. The victory gets Reid into the U.S. Women’s Open in December but next up is the third LPGA major of the year – the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship this week at Aronimink outside Philadelphia.
