The 23rd Annual Sweet Corn Fiesta
Get ready for corn-filled fun this weekend at the 23rd Annual Sweet Corn Fiesta at the Yesteryear Village of West Palm Beach. Happening Sunday, April 30th from 11am to 5pm, this is sure to be a fantastic way to conclude your weekend. If you love all things corn, then definitely check out this fiesta!
With an abundance of activities and multiple ways to enjoy different corn iterations, the Annual Sweet Corn Fiesta welcomes all who are looking to get out of the house and are ready to have a good time. The main event of the weekend will be the highly anticipated corn-shucking contest. Participants of all ages are welcome to join in on the competition that begins at 1 pm. From the youngest to the oldest, the contest will be broken down by age, giving anyone a chance to bring home some bragging rights.
Want to show off how fast you can eat? If so, there is an opportunity to do so in the corn-eating competition. You can sign up when you arrive, and it kicks off at 3 pm sharp. For those looking to oversee some professional competition, witness the Major League Eating International Federation of Competitive Eaters showdown, as seen on ESPN.
Additionally, there will also be live music playing to keep the party going. Enjoy songs from The Krystal River Band from 11 am to 2 pm and then from 2 pm to 5 pm The Andrew Morris Band. This is sure to keep you moving while you maneuver around the fairgrounds.
Admission to the Sweet Corn Fiesta is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, and completely free for any child 5 and under. Do not miss out on any of the carnival rides as wristbands go for $10 for one or $15 for two, offering some added fun for the kids.
