The Cultural Council of the Palm Beaches held a meeting last week with local arts groups and cordiality companies.  The discussion pertained to a concerted effort by the Cultural Council to boost the number of tourists who travel to the Palm Beaches. The group would like to meet with marketing administrators of other cultural organizations hoping to take advantage of realistic cultural experiences to share with local residents and tourists.

Found in northern Palm Beach County, the Town of Jupiter was ranked one of “America’s Happiest Seaside Towns” by Living magazine. Not only does Jupiter have miles of coastline and a historical landmark on the Jupiter Inlet it is full of culture and arts. Take a tour of the historical Jupiter Lighthouse during the day, and enjoy an evening of theater at the renowned Maltz Theatre.

Throughout the year, the Town of Jupiter hosts a variety of cultural experiences. ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival, Art Stage, Inc., Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum , Lighthouse Art Center, Loggerhead Marinelife Center , Loxahatchee Battlefield Preservationists, Loxahatchee River Historical Society, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Northern Palm Beaches Cultural Alliance and much more.

Culture has various meanings depending on the context it is put in, for example, culture is said to be “excellence of taste in the fine arts and humanities”.  This diversity makes all of us unique.  Cultural activities add value to the lives of individuals and to society as a whole.  Human culture not only includes works created in such fields as painting, sculpture, music, and literature, but also ideas about human existence, the world’s religions, science, technology and medicine.

Visit the Cultural Council of the Palm Beaches and see all that Palm Beach County has to offer in the arts.
