It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas on Palm Beach Island. The Flagler Museum has transformed into a Christmas wonderland as part of their annual holiday tradition, Christmas at Whitehall.

During the holiday season, the first floor of Whitehall, also known as The Flagler Museum, is decorated in traditional Gilded Age holiday decorations. The main focal point of the holiday décor is the large 16-foot Christmas tree in the Grand Hall, filled with Gilded Age style ornaments and colored lights. The exterior and front gates of the grand estate are decorated with holiday wreathes and lights.

The Museum staff began decorating for the holiday season in early November and the decorations will be on full display as part of the new Visitor Experience through December 24th. General Admission tickets are now on sale through the holiday season. The Museum will be closed on Christmas Day, December 25th.

The Flagler Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. Closer to the holiday’s the museum is offering a Special Nighttime Hours from December 20th through December 23rd from 6 pm to 8 pm.

The Flagler Museum is one of the most visited attraction in Palm Beach County. The grand estate, formally known as Whitehall, features more than 100,000 square feet filled with some of the most important Palm Beach history.

Today, the home has been turned into a museum and is open for visitors to take tours. The Museum has adopted a timed entry system. Visitors will be required when purchasing tickets online to choose a time they plan to arrive.  Museum members still have access to free admission but will be required to provide a time on when they are planning to attend.

Visitors can enjoy the first and second floor of the grand estate, the grounds, the Flagler Kenan Pavilion, Flagler’s Railcar No.91, Museum’s Winter Exhibition, The Museum Shop, and The Exhibition Gallery.
