The 25th Annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade is being held this Saturday! A fleet of decorated boats will travel along the Intracoastal Waterway from the North Palm Beach Marina to Jupiter. This is a great event for families looking to get festive and enjoy the cool weather while watching some beautiful, decorated boats float by as fireworks fly overhead.
In addition to a festive kick-off to the holiday season, the Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade is also a water-based toy drive. For 20 years, the parade has proudly partnered with the U.S. Marine Reserves Toys for Tots organization, collecting hundreds of thousands of unwrapped gifts for local kids in need. A "toy fleet" of boats with amber beacons and/or Toys for Tots signs will pull right up to docks along the parade route to pick up donations; just wave a flashlight to get their attention.
This year, the parade has also partnered with local charity Little Smiles to collect toys on dry land. Just drop your gift in Little Smiles boxes at local businesses throughout The Palm Beaches.
