The Stuart Seafood Festival
Two, fun-filled days are coming to Stuart this weekend in the form of the celebrated Stuart Seafood Festival! The Stuart Seafood Festival will take place November 15 and 16 in the heart of Downtown Stuart at Memorial Park. Two days of the freshest seafood, Florida has to offer, amazing music, nautical vendors and family friendly events. This year’s event will benefit the Rivers Coalition.
The Rivers Coalition is a great organization fueled by local Floridians who come together to save the Saint Lucie River. The Saint Lucie River was once the most biologically diverse ecosystem in Northern America. Today, it needs the help of local volunteers and these great fundraisers such as the Stuart Seafood Festival to keep the river as healthy as possible. The River Coalition’s mission is “to fight for a safe, healthy and ecologically balanced St. Lucie River Estuary and Indian River Lagoon, natural resources that are vital to the economy and quality of life of Martin County and the Treasure Coast.”
Some of the events to look forward to for this year’s Stuart Seafood Festival include: live coverage of NFL Game Day sponsored by Bud Light, live music performances all day, tons of delicious seafood and local cuisine, drink bars with yummy cocktails and craft beers, games and events for the whole family. You won’t want to miss this fun-filled, seafood-laden festival.
Gates to the Stuart Seafood Festival will open at 11am and the party stays alive until 7pm. Tickets are on sale in advance for $5; admission at the gate will be $7. Kids 12 years and under will be admitted free and parking is free as well!
