Something incredibly wild will be coming to Jupiter, Florida!

The largest environmental film festival of its time will be making its introduction, The Wild & Scenic Film Festival on April 10 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum (JILM).

The films of the prevailing and powerful short motion pictures will be presented to rise environmental support by the visual challenges that our planet has to face as well as the effort the communities are doing to safeguard the stunning places we love to live on. With over 140 ecological groups, nature centers, museums and academic universities, are all pleased and delighted to partner up with the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum.

At the film festival on Friday, the young and the old will share their involvements, emotions and accomplishments from their native waters and marine life within these amazing films. "We've picked 11 films that focus on the impact that humans have on our waters and vice versa," says Kathleen Glover, JILM assistant director and WSFF coordinator.

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival will be showing unique videos that demonstrate how the waters can inspire and invigorate the connection between us and our world which in turn will encourage the viewers to call for action. “The stories give us a sense of place and what it means to be responsible stewards of the earth.”

"We invite you and your family to join us for these 11 stunningly beautiful film shorts that make a big splash! Films will be shown on a big screen on the waterfront at the Lighthouse. Snacks, sodas, beer & wine available for purchase. This event is a fundraiser for the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum."
