There’s a lot to do in South Florida during the Winter. Here are a few fun things to do during the Winter.

Palm Beach Symphony

Palm Beach Symphony kicks off its 45th season with Symphonic Tales at the Kravis Center, a spectacular selection of lively suites spanning the Romantic Age to the early 20th century. Conducted by the Symphony’s Artistic and Music Director and world-renowned maestro Ramón Tebar, this concert features works by Strauss, Kodaly, Ginastera, Wolf-Ferrari, Borodin and Tschaikovsky, with a special guest performance by The Master Chorale of South Florida performing the Polovetsian Dances from Borodin’s Prince Igor.

Hoffman's Chocolates Winter Wonderland

Hoffman's holiday displays include a lighted gazebo, cascading fountain, an arctic zone with polar bears and penguins, manger scene, six-foot menorah, and newly renovated pond. Bell ringers, magicians, and local talent will perform, and the Factory Shoppe & Ice Cream Parlour features holidays treats and gifts from 6 to 10 p.m. nightly at 5190 Lake Worth Road, Greenacres.

Lion Country Safari

Lion Country Safari, one of the world’s best zoos, is particularly fun to visit when it’s nice and cool out during the Winter. Unlike regular zoos where you walk by animals cooped up in tiny cages, at the Lion Country Safari the animals are free to roam in wide open areas and you drive through the exhibits, just like you would do on a real African safari.
