The award winning singular sensation “A Chorus Line” has danced its way into the revered Matlz Jupiter Theatre, located at 1001 East Indiantown Road, Jupiter, Florida until February 2, 2014.
The Matlz Jupiter Theatre describes the Tony Award winning, long running production as it follows the audition process of the theatre “gypsies” as they try to land a gig on a Broadway show. This inspiring Pulitzer Prize winner, features musical favorites, by Marvin Hamlisch and Edward Kleban, including “What I did for Love” and “One”. The performance is complete with a “large orchestra, timeless scenic design and a cast of 26 triple threat performers.”
Originally directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett, “A Chorus Line” opened on Broadway in 1975. It became an unprecedented hit receiving 12 Tony nominations and winning nine, including Best 5 Musical Drama Desk Awards. A Special Tony Award in 1984 for becoming Broadway's longest running musical Pulizter Prize Drama in 1976 Revival in 2006 with 759 more performances! The original Broadway production ran for 6,680 performances, becoming one of the longest running shows in Broadway history. This is a must see!
