TRAVEL CHANNEL’S Top 10 Beaches in Florida!
Who doesn’t love pristine, gorgeous beaches and ultra-luxurious beach homes? If you do, Florida might just be the perfect place. This year, two Palm Beach County towns were voted as Florida’s top beaches by the Travel Channel (a huge honor for Palm Beach County!). Palm Beach and Delray Beach made the top 10 beaches list. The local community works hard to keep Palm Beach County beaches and the surrounding real estate beautiful. We are very proud of our beaches and happy to know the nation is feels the same.
Palm Beach Island-
Palm Beach County was regarded for having over 47 miles of unspoiled seashore, but its “crown jewel” was without a shadow of doubt, Palm Beach and Delray a close second. Palm Beach Island stretches 14 miles long and a half-mile wide. Palm Beach is known for its world-class real estate, including homes to great American families including the Vanderbilt’s, the Rockefeller’s and the Kennedy’s and more of the rich and famous. Palm Beach is home to some of the best shopping in the world on Worth Avenue. It is coveted for its fine hotels, specialty shops, five star restaurants and pristine beach. The azure water is always warm and gently crashes along shore with soft sand and breezy palms.
Delray Beach-
Delray Beach is located just north of Boca Raton. The beaches of Delray topped the list partly for the charming seaside villages surrounding. The homes around Atlantic and Ocean Avenues are quaint, tropical bungalows and estates. The beaches stretch for 2 miles and boast the perfect family-friend ambiance. You will find that the setting is supreme for swimming, sunbathing, exercising and relaxing. Lining the street across from the beach are an abundance of seafood restaurants, boutiques, unique architecture and the Pineapple Grove Art District.
Palm Beach County isn't the only spot in Florida with all of the best beaches, several other locations made different lists as well. Fort Lauderdale (#10) and Miami's South Beach (#7) topped the Nation's Best Beaches list! Also, Panama City in north Florida made it on the best Party Beach list. Florida is truly the "sunshine state" and offers some of the best in living. With qualities like these it's no wonder these beaches topped the charts. The waterfront real estate surrounding them is nowhere short of chart topping either!
Of course, Palm Beach County is not alone when it comes to Florida’s top beaches. Some of the other beaches that made the list look like something from a tropical oasis.
Some of the other beaches that made Travel Channel’s list include:
Clearwater Beach- just outside of Tampa Bay
Sanibel Beach- Florida’s Shell Islands
South Beach- Miami
Siesta Key- Sarasota County
Atlantic Beach- just outside of Jacksonville
Key West- Florida Keys
