Tropical Fruit Festival at Mounts Botanical Garden
This month on June 25th is the Tropical Fruit Festival at Mounts Botanical Garden in West Palm Beach. This special event focuses on the incredible tropical fruit trees of the area, showcasing the delicious fruits nature gives in Southern Florida. An array of colors and impressive fruiting plants create a visual spectacle that you can touch, smell and taste.
The Tropical Fruit Festival will also feature cooking demonstrations by Chef Allen Susser. Chef Susser has received the highly coveted James Beard Award for Best Chef in the Southeast. He has also written a number of successful cookbooks, which have landed on the “best seller’s” list. Some of the events you can expect to see during the festival include lectures about fruitscaping, tropical fruit sampling and fruit trees for sale.
Mounts Botanical Garden of Palm Beach County is a sanctuary of rare and beautiful plants, exotic flowers and even local wildlife. Mounts is found in West Palm Beach, Florida. There are over 18 unique gardens here at Mounts Botanical Gardens all with their own theme and habitat. Some of the gardens you will see when you visit Mounts include the butterfly garden, the orchid garden and so much more.
