The Square Grouper Tiki Bar in Jupiter has grown to become one of the most popular watering holes in the United States. It is the home of several music videos, including Alan Jackson’s hit “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere” with Jimmy Buffett. A little hidden gem nestled among the palm trees at the end of Love Street, with beautiful water views of the Jupiter Inlet and its famous lighthouse, this local landmark boasts the 19-slip Castaways Marina and the most stunning scenery in the area.

The Square Grouper features life music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Here are a few upcoming performers:

Josh Horton

Josh Horton is playing tonight, January 25, from 3PM to 6PM. Josh Horton is a guitarist, singer, studio musician, guitarist for hire, guitar teacher and songwriter.  He brings musical diversity, professionalism, passion, and experience to every show.

Rezen8 is playing tonight, January 25, from 8PM to 11PM. Rezen8 was formed in 2014 as a band determined to cover a wide variety of music. From Country to Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Pop Rock, Oldies and Alternative we are not deterred from any genre of music.

Xander James Duo

Xander James Duo is playing Saturday, January 26, from 3PM to 6PM. Xander James is an up and coming singer/songwriter from South Florida. Raised between New York and Florida Xander showed a great passion for music at a young age with influences in R&B, jazz and classic rock. Some of his musical influences include Justin Nozuka, Gavin Degraw, Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5.

The String Assassins

The String Assassins are playing Saturday, January 26, from 8PM to 11PM. The String Assassins are passionate, devoted string musicians, stretching the limits of live performance that rivals the energy of full bands.  With their recent addition (Paddy King- fiddle, mandolin, cello, bass), they have taken a giant leap in marketability, standing to be one of the most progressive acoustic string bands in South Florida.  They cover a wide range of genres, from America to Zeppelin, Johnny Cash to Pink Floyd, Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Hendrix, bluegrass standards, as well as original music.

Southern Vine Band

The Southern Vine Band is playing Sunday from 2PM to 6PM. Southern Vine Band is a 5-piece mix that cooks up sets lists of several shakes of sun, sand & surf songs, a full cup of contemporary & classic boot scootin’ tunes, a dash of classic and alternative rock, all with a healthy dose of folk/Americana favorites stirred in.

The band includes Bud Roberts’ infusion of lead vocal ingredients, with Dan Fasler’s complimentary flavorful leads, harmonies, guitar & banjo being the batter that binds it all together. Leslie Carbia’s silky harmonies and acoustic guitar skills are the sweet seasoning. Bob Martens, our Mando Emeritus, adds just the right amount of high string spices. And Gary Roberts on bass, keeps the low kettle thump simmering.
