Considered “one of Florida’s best-kept secrets” by Visit Florida the individual towns that make up the Palm Beaches are little gems that offer visitors and residents a perfect place to live and vacation.

Often, when people think of Florida, they think Disney World, Miami Beach, year-round warm weather and beaches. These places are great, but Florida has lots more to offer than just theme parks, nightlife, and sand.

While planning a vacation, choosing a rental home for the holiday or looking for a new home, Palm Beach County is where the money is at! From charming and quaint villages like Tequesta that rests alongside the Intracoastal Waterways and deliver a laid back, easy lifestyle to the uber lavish Jupiter and Palm Beach Islands that boast mansions, yachts, and celebrity neighbors, there is something perfect for any preference.

Some places you must see when spending time in the Palm Beaches:

Palm Beach

Found on the famous island of Palm Beach, one of the finest resorts in the world is the Breakers Hotel. Whether you can afford to stay here or just visit to see the grounds in all their glory, it is a sight worth seeing. Detail adorns every inch of this magnificent hotel. From the perfectly kept landscapes to the ceilings leafed in gold, to the cabanas painted with stripes where you can sip a mimosa as you watch the boats sail by on the Atlantic, the Breakers screams luxury with all its might.

While still on the island of Palm Beach, take a drive along the rows of historic Palm Beach mansions. The estates often reach from inland to ocean in a variety of styles from Mizner to Spanish revival. Some of the world’s most famous families have called this island home including the Rockefellers, the golden family of beer, the Busch family and some of the world’s wealthiest, the Koch family, Lauder family just to name a few. Also dotting Palm Beach are world-class restaurants, art gardens and one of the finest shopping destinations in the world, Worth Avenue.

Located in West Palm Beach are amazing destinations such as the Palm Beach Zoo, the Flagler Museum and tons of unique districts famed for art, shops, and eateries.

Jupiter and Tequesta

Jupiter is on a continuous upswing as it grows bigger and more desirable. With a small town and cozy feel, Jupiter is the home of many of the best golf courses in Florida and the world. As well as home to the world champions of golf, tennis, basketball, football, and baseball. While spending time here, make sure to catch a wave at one of the local beaches. Surfing, paddle boarding and boating are a way of life in this seaside city. Jupiter boasts a reputation for some of the best fishing in the world. Make sure you pop into the Loggerhead Marinelife Center to visit with sea turtles who are being rehabilitated to be re-released back into the ocean. Guanabanas is a local restaurant guaranteed to deliver an awesome experience for residents and visitors alike. It is a sight for sore eyes when you walk into the restaurant under a gigantic banyan tree and sit in the open air under palapas and overlooking the water. The Square Grouper Tiki Bar must be on your list as well. Probably the most beloved bar in Jupiter, this waterfront bar and grill serve up ice cold beers, handcrafted cocktails and live music with endless views of the Lighthouse and Jupiter inlet.
