Ask around Jupiter who sells the most real estate and you’ll hear a few names. Ask the MLS and you get one. Rob Thomson of Waterfront Properties has closed more Jupiter residential volume than any other agent since the MLS started keeping track in 1998.

RealTrends Verified named Rob’s team the #1 team in Jupiter for 2025, by both dollar volume and sides represented. That recognition reflects more than one strong year. We went back through every closed Jupiter sale in the MLS, to see how the story developed.

$2.83 Billion Since 1998

Across the MLS record from 1998 through August 31, 2026, Rob has closed $2.83 billion in credited Jupiter sales volume, spread over 692 transactions and 906 credited sides. The agent in second place sits at $1.79 billion. Rob is 58 percent ahead.

He has ranked #1 in Jupiter by sales volume in 17 of the 27 full calendar years from 1999 through 2025, and he leads again through August 31, 2026. He first took the top spot in 1999, his first full year in the data. He has held it every year since 2017.

The climb tells you something the total does not. Rob crossed $100 million for the first time in 2007, when he closed $108.9 million and nearly doubled the next agent on the list. He did it again in 2011 and 2012, then in every year from 2018 forward.

Leading Before Jupiter Had a Luxury Market

Jupiter today is a high-end market. It was not always one, and the MLS shows exactly when that changed. Through 2019 the town recorded no more than 14 sales a year at $5 million or more, and only four sales at $10 million or more in 22 years. Starting in 2020 the $5 million tier jumped past 30 sales a year and stayed there, and 87 homes have since traded at $10 million or more. The median Jupiter sale price went from $285,000 across the earlier period to $620,000 after.

Rob led the market before that shift arrived. From 1998 through 2019 he closed $1.36 billion in credited volume, more than any other Jupiter agent. He was involved in 43 of the 107 Jupiter sales at $5 million or more during those years, 40 percent of them. The next agent handled 16. He was building a high-end practice in a town whose typical sale was under $300,000.

Since 2020: $1.48 Billion in Seven Years

Rob has closed $1.48 billion in credited volume since 2020, more than he did in the previous 22 years combined. He has ranked #1 in Jupiter by volume in every one of those years, and #1 in credited sides in every year but 2020, when he placed second.

  •       2021: $290.6 million across 58 sides, the strongest year any Jupiter agent has posted in the MLS record
  •       2023: $219.3 million
  •       2024: $242.2 million, more than four and a half times the next agent
  •       2025: $217.9 million

The 2021 figure came as the whole market moved. Total Jupiter sales value rose about 27 percent that year. Rob nearly doubled his own business, from $149.6 million to $290.6 million.

When the Price Tag Gets Serious

Since 2020, Rob has represented a buyer or seller in 82 of the 294 Jupiter homes that sold for $5 million or more. At $10 million or more his share is 33 percent. His average transaction runs $5.05 million and 88 percent of his deals close at $1 million or more, in a market where the median sale is $620,000.

He has handled the single most expensive home sale in Jupiter in ten separate years: 2003, 2007, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2024. Two of those deals stand out.

  •       176 Spyglass Lane, 2021. Rob represented both the buyer and the seller at $24 million. That set a new high for a Jupiter home in the entire MLS record. The previous high, set the year before, was $13.25 million.
  •       209 Commodore Drive, 2024. He represented both sides again, this time at $34 million.

Representing both parties on a sale that size requires the trust of two very demanding clients at once. Rob has done it on 225 Jupiter transactions.

Admirals Cove Runs Through Rob

If Jupiter has a neighborhood where Rob is synonymous with the market, it is Admirals Cove. His credited volume there stands at $2.21 billion, the most of any agent in the community’s MLS record since 1998, ahead of the $1.78 billion posted by the agent in second place. Put another way, the sales he has been part of account for $1.62 billion of the $3.88 billion that has changed hands in Admirals Cove, roughly 42 cents of every dollar.

A skeptic might say that one community explains everything. The numbers disagree. Take every Admirals Cove sale out of the data and Rob still ranks #1 in Jupiter by volume, with $622 million against $378 million for the next agent. His work reaches Pennock Point, the Islands of Jupiter, Jupiter River Estates, Indian Hills, Jupiter Heights and the banks of the Loxahatchee River.

2026: Outpacing Himself

With a third of the year still ahead, Rob has already closed $222.9 million in Jupiter volume in 2026, more than his entire 2025. That is roughly twice the $112.1 million recorded by the next-closest agent this year. Notable closings include:

  •       217 Commodore Drive at $23 million
  •       5900 Pennock Point Road at $18.25 million
  •       19709 Harbor Road at $15.5 million

The Team

Rob works alongside Sheri Carter, Robert Jack Thomson and Cheryl Henderson at Waterfront Properties. Together they form the team RealTrends Verified ranked first in Jupiter for 2025.

How We Ran the Numbers

Every figure comes from MLS closed residential sales with a Jupiter address. The analysis begins in 1998 and runs through August 31, 2026. Earlier MLS records are sparse, and 1998 itself is treated as a partial year because records before June are incomplete.

Duplicate transaction records, including cross-MLS duplicates and occasional duplicate entries within a single MLS, were reconciled to a single transaction using property address, sale price and closing-date proximity. Where cross-MLS records disagreed on agent attribution, the Beaches MLS record was treated as authoritative.

Agents earn credit for each side they represented:

  •       the full sale price for one side;
  •       double the sale price when they represented both buyer and seller;
  •       half the sale price for a co-listed or co-represented side, which also counts as half a side.

The luxury era: The 2020 dividing line is drawn from the data, not chosen for convenience. Sales at $5 million more than doubled in 2020, to 33 sales, and have stayed above 30 every year since, and the $10 million tier barely existed before then.
