The arts in Palm Beach County continue to grow and prosper. One of the exuberant expressions of the arts in the area is Young Friends of Palm Beach Symphony. The Young Friends Mission Statement is "To engage, educate, and entertain the greater community of the Palm Beaches through live performances of inspiring orchestral music."

Young Friends of Palm Beach Symphony are kicking off another sensational season of charity and service providing the gift of music to children in the community.  It is strongly felt in the Young Friends of Palm Beach Symphony through the experience of a live symphony orchestra. Children are not only receiving musical education, but they are also building a foundation for the appreciation and respect of music and the arts in Palm Beach.

Palm Beach Symphony develops, performs, and funds its Children’s Concert Series exposing our youth and future generations to the arts and symphonic music in Palm Beach County. The program has become a tradition in our community and has seen exponential growth each year. With the live contribution of a symphony orchestra, children are exposed to a musical education, as well as building a basis for the appreciation and respect of music and the arts.

This year’s group of notable music lovers is chaired by J. Roby Penn IV and is hosting its opening event of this season within the Royal Poinciana Plaza Court, Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Enjoy complimentary cocktails, appetizers and a special concert by U.B. Kinsey/Palmview Elementary School string students. Tickets for non-members are available at palmbeachsymphony.org/younsgfriends.
