The Rapids Water Park, which typically closes in early November, is going to stay open a bit longer this year – all the way through Thanksgiving until November 25th. It's your last chance to visit the Rapids this year. So if you haven't already taken your kids this year, pack up the minivan and get moving!

The Rapids Water Park

The Rapids is undoubtedly South Florida's biggest water park at 30 acres, Rapids stacks up alongside Orlando's biggest attractions with lazy rivers, splash pools and raging rafts.

The park has six high-speed slides for its older visitors as well as several areas for parents to play with their younger children.
If you feel like surfing, try the artificial-wave ride FlowRider lets two wakeboarders and bodyboarders surf at once. Feel like lounging? Try the lazy river. Feel like going down one of the worlds fastest waterslides? Hike your way up to Big Thunder!

The park tends to get absolutely slammed during the summer. So now is actually a great time to visit. You won't have to deal with the lines and you can hit every slide in the park several times before you leave so you are sure you get your money's worth.

A day at The Rapids is something your kids are sure to enjoy. It is one of the few places where children of all ages, whether they be in elementary or middle school, can have some real fun playing riding rides with their friends and familes.
