The Seventh Annual ‘Go Blue Awards’ luncheon is fully devoted to identifying those that have contributed to marine conservation. Palm Beach County’s most outstanding ocean conservationist awards ceremony, was intently created to recognize stand out individuals, nonprofit organizations and businesses that support Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s (LMC) mission to encourage safeguarding.
On Friday, November 6, 2015, in this seventh year, the luncheon will bring a crowd together at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. PGA National is an upscale resort that has been a place of legendary moments. There will be a well-known key note speaker, Joel Sartore, who is a photographer, speaker, author, teacher and a regular contributor to National Geographic magazine. Joel’s assignments have led him to many opportunities around the globe into some beautiful and challenging environments. He has learned over the years, in his words, “It is folly to think that we can destroy one species and ecosystem after another and not affect humanity. When we save species, we’re actually saving ourselves.”
