Breast Cancer Awareness month is here! Below are events happening in Palm Beach County where you can don your best pink outfit for a cause.
Real Men Wear Pink Concert | October 12th, 6-9 pm
Jupiter Medical Center is partnering with the Abacoa Food Truck Invasion to go pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Abacoa Town Center. The event will feature live music, breast health information, giveaways, raffle prizes, face painting, and balloon sculpting, as well as food for purchase from local food trucks.
Pitch for the Cure | October 13, 8 am – 11 pm
At Lake Catherine Park in Palm Beach Gardens and hosted by PBGYAA, this youth softball tournament raised $7,000 last year. For more information, go HERE.
Making Strides of South Palm Beach | October 14th, 8:30 am
At FAU in Boca Raton, survivors, caregivers, and men and women from all walks of life who are passionate about saving lives from breast cancer come together to walk in solidarity. For more information, contact southpalmbeachflstrides@cancer.org.
Sip and Shop for Komen South Florida | October 14th, 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
The Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Jupiter’s Harbourside Place is hosting an event featuring pink cocktails, light food, and shopping boutique items. The event will also have a silent auction, and tickets are $60 HERE or by calling 561-514-3020.
Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon | October 18th, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
The Urban League of Palm Beach County is hosting its 8th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon at Gaines Park Community Center. Join clinicians and survivors as they educate the community about the disease that affects both men and women. There will be a healthy lunch, educational materials and a free door prize.  Register HERE.
District Fit | October 19-21
A three-day wellness festival at CityPlace stretching over two miles in West Palm Beach and offering more than 20 free health and exercise classes. For more information, go HERE.
Downtowns Go Pink | October 25th, 6 pm
Restaurants and stores along Delray Beach, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, and West Palm Beach will become destination hot spots by offering special discounts and items to help raise funds for local life-saving breast cancer programs and research to find a cure. For more information, go HERE.
