3 Local Golf Courses on Golf Digest’s Best Golf Courses List

Golf Digest is one of golf’s premier publications. It is a magazine and website dedicated to all things golf. With exclusive interviews with the world’s best golfers, the best in golf equipment and apparel and a full account of the best golf courses and country clubs in the nation, Golf Digest is in the know. 

In a recent article of Golf Digest, the experts at the publication compiled a list of the best golf courses in Florida. Its no secret that Florida is home to some of the best courses in the world and boasts the best golf champions as residents, but did you know that Palm Beach County is home to 3 of the Top 10 Courses on this list? 

First on the list was Seminole Golf Course in Juno Beach. There was no surprise here. Seminole Golf Course is arguably one of the hardest courses to get access to. Even the world’s elite, celebrity and wealthiest can not always get access to this prestigious course. Not only is it the best course in Florida but also it is one of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the nation. As you drive along A1A you might miss the humble entrance to 300-member club. A small sign and tropical plants hide the threshold to the finest course in the state. Known for its fast pace of play, difficulty and breathtaking views of the ocean, Seminole Golf Course certainly deserves its reputation.  

Fifth on the list was the Jupiter Hills Golf Course in Tequesta. Comprised of two 18-hole courses, Jupiter Hills Golf Club was created back in the 60’s with a goal of offering the people of south Florida an exclusive, private championship level course. Today, Jupiter Hills is ranked amongst the some of the best private courses in the country. With beautiful rolling hills, manicured landscapes and a fine country club there is nothing missing from this amazing golf club. 

Ranking eighth on Golf Digest’s list of best golf courses in Florida is The Bears Club in Jupiter. Founded by the renowned, champion golfer and his wife, Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, the Bears Club sets the standard for a private club with the highest of standards. Pristine golf courses, a five star clubhouse and surrounded by some of the nation’s premier real estate, The Bears Club is nothing short of incredible.
