Dave & Busters

Dave & Busters is a family-fun center for people of all ages. One of the great things about Dave and Busters is that they offer both a restaurant and games, all in the same facility. As soon as visitors walk in, they have two options:  run right to the games or have a seat in the restaurant area. There is also seating available around a large bar in the game room. Prepare to be assaulted by lights, sounds, and screen as you enter the game area. This is where children’s faces light with excitement as they run towards their favorite game. Conveniently, all tokens come in the form of Power Cards which are purchased at the entrance. All you need to do is slide your card and it automatically deducts from your pre-paid total.

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Casino is comprised of the Hard Rock Hotel, as well as the Casino itself. The Hotel features 500 upscale guest rooms and suites, usually music-themed with classic art work. Guests can choose between a Deluxe King, Roxy Suite or Luxury Suite, all of which offer fabulous views. There are also many dining options at the location, including Council Oak, Kuro, Hard Rock Café, Blue Plate, Sirocco, Bongo’s, and more. Hollywood Beach Broadwalk

The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk was named one of America’s beach Beach Boardwalks by Travel and Leisure. Stretching nearly two and a half miles along the ocean, the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk is a great opportunity for cyclists, joggers, and rollerbladers to take in the fresh ocean breezes as they stroll past many cafes, restaurants, and shops. With the ocean literally just steps away, the Broadwalk gives the feel of a small town, especially with the presence of small inns and hotels resting along it. Because the beach is so close to the eateries, Fodor Travel Guide rated the Broadwalk Best Beach for Families in 2009.

Downtown Hollywood

Downtown Hollywood is just minutes from Fort Lauderdale and the beach and features a wide of array of things to do, including sidewalk cafes, 6 blocks of shops and boutiques, art galleries, and a plethora of highly rated restaurants, all in one place. Nightlife is big here, with live jazz, blues, rock, Latin, and R&B, to name a few cultural trends. Also home to Downtown Hollywood is the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, which showcases modern art exhibits, as well as musical performances. Also, the ArtsPark at Young Circle is a 10-acre playground available to people of all ages.

Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theater

The Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theater is a popular location where comedians from all over come to entertain the masses. This is a fun destination for either a date night (provided your date has a sense of humor), group, or party. In fact, many offices have company parties at the Improv, with everyone getting a good laugh together. Many times, though, the Improv is a good stepping stone for amateurs looking to get into the field. With 5 minutes to impress and at least 10 fans, anyone can pretend to be a star. To note, Improv requires a two-drink minimum.
