Banana Boat Restaurant and Lounge

Located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Boynton Beach, Banana Boat offers both indoor and outdoor eating options with gorgeous views. One of the many great things about Banana Boat is the boat dockage, with many patrons arriving by boat for their meal. For those not arriving by the water, complimentary valet and self parking is available. Since its opening in 1978, it’s estimated that over 12 million customers have frequented Banana Boat, and many in the Boynton Beach area consider it a staple as an “Authentic Florida Experience.”

Old Key Lime House

Just a short drive from Hypoluxo, Old Key Lime House was voted one of the best casual party destinations in the area. One of the great things about Old Key Lime House is that it sits directly on the sparkling waters of the Intracoastal Waterway and features the largest Gator viewing site. For those with kids, there is also a Kids Zone play area to keep the little ones occupied so the adults can enjoy their meal. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to meet up with friends. Old Key Lime House is open for lunch and dinner during the week, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

Downtown Lake Worth

Hypoluxo is conveniently located close to Downtown Lake Worth, which offers excellent shopping experiences, in addition to live music. Southern Comfort Charter Services is a 48 foot yacht situated at the Palm Beach Yacht Center in Hypoluxo. It sails from the location shortest to the Boynton Beach Inlet and takes patrons out to the best fishing stops, allowing them to fish longer than any other charter service. One of the unique features that sets Southern Comfort Charter Services apart from other charter boats is the air conditioned salon, where guests can relax and enjoy complimentary soda and bottled water. Lake Worth Playhouse

Lake Worth Playhouse, not very far from Hypoluxo, opened in 1924 and has been continuing its run to this day. It started out with a simple silent movie and small concert and has now grown into actual stage plays, as well as the showcasing of independent and foreign films. Some examples of musicals that have been performed are Chicago, Rent, Cinderella, The Crucible, Hair, and Oliver, usually anything from comedy to drama to children shows to Broadway notables. Next door is the Stonzek Theater, where visitors can sit to watch the latest films on an oversized viewing screen in high definition. For those interested in continuing education, the Playhouse also offers educational programs for adults and children, as well as community outreach programs.
