Lantana Road Beach Library

Serving the central part of Palm Beach County, the Lantana Road Beach Library offers a large collection of adult fiction, non-fiction, as well as children’s books. Magazine articles and newspapers are also available on the library’s electronic database. For those with Kindles, a plethora of e-books are available to borrow and download straight to your device. There are a total of 62 public computers, a separate teen area, five study rooms, copiers, and a large conference room.

Atlantic Golf Club

Lantana is a short drive to Lake Worth, where the Atlantic Golf Club can be found. Designed by infamous Joe Lee, this par-71 course is challenging for beginners and seasoned veterans, alike. The Club offers marvelous views of the course, in addition to 10 flat screen televisions, fresh drinks, and excellent food. For those looking for hone their game or even to start learning, the Club offers several lesson packages from which to choose.

Fun Depot

Open seven days a week, Fun Depot is a family fun center located in Lake Worth, just minutes from Lantana. Kids especially love the game of 10-minute laser tag in a black-lit 4000 square foot area encompassed by fog and heart pumping music. Go-Karts are also available for those at least 46” tall and at least 6 years old, with different variety of karts from which to choose, including Adult, Double, and Junior. For the baseball fans, there is a batting cage for those at least 6 years of age, as well as a fun-filled arcade for people of all ages.

Lake Worth Beach & Pier

A favorite spot of those who live in Lantana is the Lake Worth Beach & Pier. Visitors appreciate that the beach is close to parking, and there is a meandering walkway along the shoreline, perfect for a late afternoon stroll. Kids enjoy the small playground, as well as a quaint grassy area on which to play. For those looking for a bite to eat, Kilwin’s and Mamma Mia’s Pizza are close by. Also, the second and fourth Friday of each month, visitors enjoy a bonfire on the beach for the ultimate in romance and fun.

Verde Classics Car Museum

Situated in Boynton Beach, Verde Classics Car Museum showcases collectible autos, bicycles, motor scooters and mopeds, in addition to sports, music, and movie memorabilia from the 1950s through the 70s. Visitors can find three “mood” rooms, the first being movie memorabilia from the early to mid post-war period, displaying artifacts from films such as James Bond and Casablanca. The second room showcases the music room, featuring Elvis, the Beatles, and more. Sports memorabilia can be found in the third and final room, with notables such as Steve McQueen, Muhammad Ali, and Magic Johnson.
