Sawgrass Recreation Park

Sawgrass Recreation Park is a popular destination in Weston, Florida, featuring airboat rides, animal exhibits, fishing, camping, and a kid’s zone. During the daytime airboat adventure, visitors take a 30 minute tour of the Florida Everglades, guided by a knowledgeable captain who will share much information about the area, as well as point out the different kinds of wildlife along the way. The airboat tour also takes place at night, and this tour is 60 minutes. There are also several exhibits to enjoy, including the reptile exhibit with turtles, iguanas, and alligators, in addition to the Glades Exhibit with pgs, tortoises, ducks, and peacocks.

Lucille’s American Café

Located in Weston, Lucille’s American Café is a prestigious diner with 1940s theme combined with modern times. Customers, including families with children, are attracted to Lucille’s because of its large portion sizes and affordable prices. The atmosphere is both trendy and laidback, and the food is homemade. Some menu favorites are the handmade chips with homemade ketchup, baked potato soup, meatloaf, and carrot cake. There are also a variety of salads, burgers, and sandwiches from which to choose. Kids, especially, love the three-cheese baked macaroni. Outdoor seating is available, providing customers with a lovely lake view.

Sawgrass Mills Mall

Sawgrass Mills is a huge outlet mall located in Sunrise, just minutes from Weston. It offers a large variety of stores at all price points, which appeals to all different kinds of people. They have everything from Banana Republic to Forever 21 to Victoria Secret to Saks and Burberry. One of the major draws to Sawgrass Mills is the presence of Rainforest Café, as customers are able to dine as though they are inside a rainforest, surrounded by fountains, fish, wild animals, and even the occasional thunderstorm. Because of its massive size, Sawgrass Mill is divided into three parts: the main mall with four Avenue sections and a Fashion Avenue, as well as an outdoor section known as the Oasis. There is also a Regal Cinemas, perfect for relaxing after a day of shopping.

Tarantella Ristorante

Situated in Weston Town Center, Tarantella Ristorante is one of Zagat’s Top Restaurants, featuring delicious breads and pastries, pasta, brick oven gourmet pizza, and succulent Italian dishes. Weston Regional Park

Weston Regional Park is a 102 acre park located off Saddle Club Road. It offers 8 baseball fields, 8 football fields, 8 basketball courts, 5 roller hockey rinks, a skate park, sand volleyball courts, and more. There is also a Community Center within the park, a 7376 square foot facility with activity and meeting rooms, as well as a skate park featuring modular steel construction equipment by Skatewave. Children under the age of 17 must have written permission from their parents before inline skating and skateboarding.
