Above it All Juno Beach
Juno Beach is beautiful within itself, but the pier gives you a different view of the ocean. The Juno Beach Pier, 14775 U.S. Highway One, Juno Beach is operated by The Loggerhead Marinelife Center. It offers visitors almost 1000 feet of unlimited saltwater fishing and an incredible opportunity to appreciate the picturesque Atlantic Ocean view. The full-service Pier House features a helpful visitor guide who can suggest rental poles available to those who don’t have their own pole. Within the snack shack and gift shop they offer an assortment of fishing tackle and bait.
Loggerhead Marinelife Center, located in Loggerhead Park, Juno Beach is a sea turtle research, rehabilitation, education and conservation center. The center also manages the popular Juno Beach fishing pier, which is across the street from the park. For more information, visit the Marinelife.org/conservation/pier. The marine life center has initiated a The Responsible Pier Initiative is a first of its kind program in Florida. The goal has been designed as a cooperative effort to engage directly with fishermen and fishing piers to promote a healthy pier environment for sea turtles and other marine life. The “purpose of these efforts is to provide first-responders on fishing piers with the necessary resources to respond effectively to traumatic sea turtle injuries and stranding’s.” The intention of these efforts is to provide fishing piers with the necessary resources to respond efficiently to traumatic sea turtle wounds and stranding’s.
The pier is clean and well maintained. Never a bad view and the cost for visitors is minimal. There are several benches provided for sightseeing seating. Railings are all safe for little fisherman as well. Check out the Juno Beach Live Pier Cam and see what’s up.
