BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT at ROGER DEAN STADIUM

Posted by Nicole Richards on Thursday, August 6th, 2015 at 10:15am.

It is that time of year again when students in the community start to gear up for the upcoming school year!  Roger Dean Stadium knows just how to get kids excited and prepared!

Roger Dean Stadium is a baseball arena in Jupiter, Florida, within the Abacoa community, that hosts major league games and a ton of fun filled family events. It also is the only stadium in Florida to host two Major League teams annually for spring training: the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals.

Roger Dean Stadium is taking part in helping children get ready for a successful year as a part of the Great Eight events. On Saturday August 8th, 2015, be there to enjoy and share some everlasting summer memories by visiting the stadium prior to the match-up between the Palm Beach Cardinals and Fort Myers Miracle.

Youngsters of all age groups will be given an opportunity to visit vendors along the concourse sections for school supplies such as spiral notebooks, rulers, glue sticks, folders and any other essential supplies students may need for a great and productive school year! *Plus, the first 500 kids (15 and under) that walk through the gates of Roger Dean Stadium will be handed a special backpack with Palm Beach Cardinals and Jupiter Hammerheads logos on the bags!

“This event is geared toward families and we want to help the parents and families as far as preparing for the upcoming school year because not everyone has time to go to the store and get what they need," Cantone said, The Hammerheads general manager.
