It’s time to start enjoying the warm, South Florida Weather. One of the best ways to do that, especially if you have kids, is at a waterpark.

Here are a few of our favorite waterparks in the Palm Beaches.

The Rapids

Rapids Water Park is a water park is one of the best waterparks in the Palm Beaches. The park occupies 30 acres near I-95. The park includes 42 slides and attractions, including a wave pool, dual seven-story speed slides, and a quarter mile lazy river.

Calypso Bay

Calypso Bay Waterpark is a seasonal outdoor attraction where you can also enjoy two four-story waterslides, an 897-foot river ride, an interactive water playground and a traditional swimming pool complete with lap lanes and diving boards. Splashing around can work up an appetite, and thankfully concessions are available.

Sugar Sand Park

Sugar Sand Park offers smiling sea creatures spray kids with water on the newly renovated playground at this park in Boca Raton, or they can take aim with rotating water guns.

John Prince Park

Head to John Prince Park in Lake Worth to enjoy some water fun with friends—a large frog and a whale. The kids can stand under the whale’s giant splashing tail, run through a series of spray arches and enjoy the buckets of water that tip over or the rotating spray cannons. Plus, there are three shade sails that offer sun protection for little ones as well as parents.

North Aquatic Complex

While not technically a “waterpark,” Jupiter’s North County Aquatic Complex features a 50-meter pool and diving boards, along with a children's wading pool for those too timid for the “big kid” pool.
