Mounts Botanical Gardens in West Palm Beach has a new exhibit called Washed Ashore: Arts to Save the Seas.

The exhibit features 10 sea creature sculptures made entirely from debris collected from the beach. The purpose is to graphically illustrate the tragic plastic pollution problem in our oceans and waterways. The hope is to encourage conservation and inspire better habits.

Located throughout 14 acres of beautiful gardens, the sculptures influence environmental conservation and sustainability.

The exhibition is free for members of the Mounts Botanical Gardens. For non-member adults it is $15, for veterans and seniors it is $10. For children 4-12 it is $5 and children 3 and under is free.

Starts at 10 a.m. daily. 531 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33415.
