No trip to the Boca Raton area would be complete without exploring the local cuisine of the area. Being Southeast Florida, and a beach town, this means a lot of Caribbean culinary delights abound. Boca Raton is a varied community and its reflected in the available dining options.

Caribbean cuisine includes a mixture of cooking techniques, flavors, spices, and influences from the indigenous people on the islands, and the Spanish, British, Africans, Indian and Chinese who have inhabited the various islands. The cuisine isinfluenced by the crops that were pioneered onto the islands. Caribbean cuisine includes a variety of dishes from the different ethnicities brought to the islands with the arrival of people from in a different place.
