Celebrate the holidays at Whitehall, Flagler Museum. Here's a chance to add another family-friendly activity to your holiday season.  Take a step back in time to holiday seasons in the 1900’s.  Whitehall is a 75-room Gilded Age mansion open to the public in Palm Beach. Located at 1 Whitehall Way, Palm Beach, construction was completed in 1902.  The building is a major example of neoclassical Beaux Arts architecture designed by Carrere and Hastings for Mr. Flagler.

Flagler was a prominent leader of industrialism in the late 19th century. Whitehall was to be a winter residence, and Henry gave it to his bride, Mary Lily, as a wedding gift.  He was also the foremost developer of South Florida as a vacation destination. The Whitehall building is listed as a treasured National Historical Landmark. Whitehall now houses the Flagler Museum, which is named after its builder, Henry Flagler.

During December 19, 2019 to December 23, 2019, visitors will have a unique opportunity to tour Whitehall after hours.  Illuminated by the glow of original 1902 lighting fixtures, while discovering the wonders of a Gilded Age Christmas.  Don’t miss this most beloved holiday event.

Each evening begins with a festive reception in the Flagler Kenan Pavilion at 6:00 pm featuring carolers, holiday refreshments and activities sure to spark nostalgia for visitors of all ages. Docent-led tours begin at 6:45 pm and continue every 15 minutes through 7:30 pm.

The Museum Store will be open for holiday shopping until 7:30 pm each evening. Advance purchase required.  Due to limited availability, tickets may only be purchased by phone. Please call 561- 655-2833 extension 27.
