City Place in West Palm Beach is Shopping at its Finest!
Resembling a European town center, City Place is a popular outdoor shopping center in West Palm Beach. The center of Downtown, it offers a well-rounded selection from over 80 stores, shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues, some of which are surrounded by residences. An amazing fountain show takes place throughout the day in front of Il Bellagio, something that the kids particularly enjoy, and there is always live music and entertainment to enjoy on Friday and Saturday nights. Throughout the year, special events take place, including a gigantic Christmas tree lighting in the center plaza at Christmas time. Also during this time, there is a daily “snowfall” from the sky, which gives Floridians a fun chance to experience “snow,” in addition to an ice skating rink and train for kids. Muvico IMAX Theater can also be found within City Place, making it the perfect place to have dinner and a movie in West Palm Beach. Restaurants include favorites such as Cheesecake Factory, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Il Bellagio, Blue Martini, and BRIO Tuscan Grill. Specialty stores include Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt, Starbucks, Rita’s Italian Ice, Auntie Anne’s Café, Sloan’s, and more. Even more convenient is that there is a Publix directly across street on the north end of City Place, which makes last-minute shopping very convenient. Also, for those looking for laughs, the Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theater has been known to feature famous comedians throughout the year.
