Have you ever looked at the Jupiter Lighthouse and thought it would be cool to go to the top of it? Do you enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, and being on the water? Well, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum has the perfect event for you!
On Thursday, January 10 the Jupiter Lighthouse will offer a guided tour of not just the lighthouse, but the waterway around the lighthouse as well. For $30for adults and $25 for children 6 years and older, you can climb to the top of the Jupiter Lighthouse followed by a guided tour through the surrounding water via either paddle board or kayak. See some of the fish and wildlife that call the area home, including manatees, sea turtles, birds and other wildlife.
The Jupiter Lighthouse has been part of the area since it was originally conceptualized in 1853. In 1972, the Loxahatchee River Historical Society was founded in order to preserve the lighthouse. It was at that time that public tours beegan.
