I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.  Have you ever wondered when did ice cream become bad, fattening and taboo?  It is usually made from dairy products, such as milk and cream, and often combined with fruits or other ingredients and flavors. Doesn’t sound sinister.  It’s time to revisit summer days of our youth and dive into a guiltfree, delicious ice cream cone.

Before the development of modern refrigeration,I ice cream was a luxury reserved for special occasions.  With South Floridas sunny days and tropical climate, it is typical to spend a day out on the salty beaches. Everyday is the Palm Beaches is a special occasion.  There is nothing more enjoyable than to cool down with an ice-cold confection occasionally. An ice-cream cone will surely melt off the heat.

An ice cream shop that stands the test of time and is a local favorite with area residents is Palm Beach Ice Cream.  Locally owned and operated for 30 years  in the area is Palm Beach Ice Cream.  They have two locations in different areas of Jupiter and Tequesta. This ice cream parlor is cozy with a mom and pop sort of vibe. There are a handful of tables and a bench or two outside with wind chimes blowing in the breeze. Visit Palm Beach Ice Cream close to the beaches off  A1A in  239 U.S. Highway One,  Tequesta or in Western Jupiter, at 6761 West Indiantown Road, Jupiter.  So, when you need to cool off after a nice run or grabbing some sun with the kids cool off with a triple scoop with sprinkles!
