Delivery and Pickup Options for Passover Dinner

Passover is coming up fast and, while a large dinner with friends might not be a great idea given the current Coronavirus pandemic, you can still make the occasion special with your immediate family.

If you generally order your family’s Passover dinner, don’t worry, there are still a variety of delivery and pickup option available in the Palm Beaches.

Toojay’s

With multiple locations doing takeout, curbside pickup and delivery in the Palm Beaches, Toojay’s will offer a Passover menu that includes a pound of herb roasted chicken for $4.99, a half-pound of beef brisket for $10.99, a quart of matzo ball soup for $11.99, a quart of chicken soup for $10.49, mini potato pancakes for $1.59 each, a pound of carrot tzimmes for $4.99, a pound of gefilte fish for $6.99, a half-pound of chopped liver for $6.49, matzo balls for $.99 each, a quart of mushroom gravy for $4.99, almond cake for $25.99, a pound of coconut macaroons for $8.79 and a pound of chocolate macaroons for $9.79. 

Doris Italian Market and Bakery

Doris Italian Market and Bakery, with five locations in Broward and Palm Beach counties, has Passover and Easter dinner packages. DorisMarket.com.

The Passover Brisket Dinner Package with beef brisket, carrot and sweet potato tzimmes and three potator pancakes or roasted potatoes is $14.95 per person.

There is also a Passover Dinner Package with chicken soup with matzo balls, chopped liver, carrot and sweet potato tzimmes. For the main course there is a choice of beef brisket, turkey breast, grilled London broil or roasted chicken. You also have a choices of green bean almondine or broccoli as well as a choice of potato pancakes, kugel or roasted potatoes. This package is $19.95 per person.

Angelo Elia

Angelo Elia is doing special Easter offerings at two of his eateries. The dinners must be pre-ordered and pre-paid by April 5.

  • Angelo Elia The Bakery Bar in Fort Lauderdale will have the traditional Italian Easter cake, Columba, for $22 and the Neapolitan Wheatberry and Ricotta Easter cake for $24. 954-566-6100. AngeloEliaBakery.com.
  • Casa D’Angelo Ristorantes in Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton will have an Easter menu including lamb meatballs for $16, sliced roasted veal for $16, braised lamb ragout for $24, pork sausage ragout for $22, capretto al forno for $36, cannelloni for $22, ossobuco for $38 and contorni for $8. Deck 84

Deck 84 in Delray Beach has a Passover-to-go offer that you must order by Thursday, April 2, and pick up April 7 or 8 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. There is free delivery for orders over $30. The menu includes a quart of matzo ball soup for $15, a quart of chopped chicken liver for $12, a pound of beef brisket for $20, apple walnut salad for $15 (serves four people), half a roasted chicken for $12, a half-pound of pan-roasted salmon for $14 and a dozen almond cookies for $20. Del Frisco’s Grille

Del Frisco’s Grille in Fort Lauderdale has an Easter dinner pre-order menu that includes deviled eggs, smoked salmon platter or cheese charcuterie board as well as Caesar salad or Del Frisco salad for starters. The choices for main courses include glazed ham, roasted turkey breast, New England haddock or leg of lamb. You can also choose three side dishes among the selection of mac and cheese, asparagus, hand-mashed potatoes or roasted baby carrots

Fresh Market

Fresh Market, with 11 locations in Broward and Palm Beach counties, is offering a ready-to-heat Easter meal, which includes, a nine-pound spiral sliced honey ham, three pounds of green beans, three pounds of white cheddar scalloped potatoes, one cored pineapple, 12 dinner rolls and a seven-inch white layer cake. Juuuicy Vegan Restaurant and Bar

Juuuicy Vegan Restaurant and Bar, a Dominican hotspot in West Palm Beach that used to be known as Mama’s Vegan Cocina, is doing vegan takes on two Dominican desserts for Easter weekend, red beans creme and sweet potato pudding. Both will cost $4.99 for an eight ounce serving. Juuuicy.com
